OLD DEAN FUN DAY

Come and see us at Cordwalles Junior School this Saturday from 11am-3pm where we’ll be serving refreshments with interesting stalls and fun displays all around us!

IF YOU CAN, THEN PLEASE:

  • provide some cakes (homemade or bought)
  • help us set up from 9.30am onwards by taking chairs, tables & equipment to the school
  • help us pack up from 3pm onwards by returning our chairs, tables & equipment to St Martin’s

Any help you can offer would be greatly appreciated, thank you so much.

It’s free delicious pastries this week at our Free Community Breakfast! Join us from 10am-10.30am where you can enjoy all for free:

  1. GIVING OUR AMAZING KIDS & YOUTH LEADERS & HELPERS A WELL-EARNED BREAK

We’re giving our amazing kids and youth leaders and helpers a very well-deserved break for the summer holidays.

So, we’re going to provide fun packs of activities for our kids to do to help keep them well-entertained in the service. They’ll be available every Sunday in the Kids & Youth area.

Parents and carers, please look after your kids whilst we give our leaders and helpers a break.

Lighthouse & Ignite, our wonderful kids & youth groups, will recommence on Sunday 1stSeptember.

  1. QUIET COMMUNION BEFORE OUR SERVICE

Come and join us at 9.45am for Quiet Communion. Come and touch base with God in peace at the start of the day.

THIS MONDAY

  1. NEURODIVERSE SUPPORT GROUP EVENING GROUP

Come and unwind with fellow parents and carers for a cuppa and a chat with others who really get what you’re dealing with. You can join us on Monday from 7.30pm-9pm

  1. HANDBELL CHOIR

Come and join our handbell choir from 1.30pm-2.30pm! Come and join in with the fun!

THIS WEDNESDAY!

  1. FREE WEDNESDAY CAFÉ

Come and join us at our Free Wednesday Café from 10-11.30am where you can enjoy all for free:

  • Essential items
  • Delicious fruit
  • Yummy homemade cakes

NEURODIVERSE SUPPORT GROUP

Come and unwind with fellow parents and carers for a cuppa and a chat with others who really get what you’re dealing with. You can join us:

  • Monday 19th August from 10-11.30am - As this next session is in the school holidays, we’re going to meet at Frimley Lodge Park. We’ll set up near the park so the children can play. Please feel free to bring a picnic and chairs etc. If the weather isn’t good, then we will meet up at St Martin’s as normal

You’re more than welcome as always.

PROFESSIONAL DANCING AT WEDNESDAY CAFÉ!

Following the great success of last year’s ‘Doorstep Duets’ show, the professional dancing company will once again be offering a free show at Wednesday Café on Wednesday 28thAugust!

THE ALZHEIMER’S CAFÉ

On Monday 16th September from 6.30pm-8.30pm, come and enjoy a free meal and enjoy building friendships with others who understand what you’re going through with this very cruel disease.

THE HOPE HUB

The Hope Hub are taking a break from their outreach service on Thursdays at St Martin’s, but they're always here to support you. They'll be back in September!

If you need support during July and August, don't hesitate to email or call. They're happy to arrange a one-on-one session at St Martin's, in your home, or at a convenient community location.

You can get help with universal Credit, debt or money Management, homelessness, training and other courses in cookery or living well, volunteering, finding work or job coaching, mental health services, addiction, and tenancy or signposting/information

THE YOUTH HUB, TUESDAY TOTS, CLUB DEAN & FREE SATURDAY CAFÉ

The Youth Hub, Tuesday Tots, Club Dean, and Free Saturday Café are taking a break for the summer holidays and will return in September.

PRAY FOR CAMBERLEY

Come and join all the churches in Camberley on Tuesday 1st October at our church as we gather to pray for Camberley. It starts at 8pm with refreshments from 7.45pm. The next date will be Tuesday 3rd December at Heatherside Church.

MORNING PRAYER

Please join us in the Prayer Room on:

  • Monday at 10am
  • Tuesday & Wednesday at 9am (before Wednesday Café at 10am)
  • Saturday at 9.30am (before Saturday Café at 10am).
